Riassunto

Per molti, fra i giovani studiosi del diritto penale, il nome di Filippo Grispigni è pressoché sconosciuto. E non potrebbe essere altrimenti, se si considera che nella letteratura contemporanea, attraverso cui hanno modo di conoscere i grandi giuristi del passato, non è mai o quasi mai citato. Gli stessi, perciò, si sorprenderanno, scoprendo che non è sempre stato così, e che, anzi, per decenni Grispigni ha rappresentato uno dei personaggi di maggiore spicco nella dottrina italiana (e non solo).

Lights and shadows in the work of Filippo Grispigni

For many of those among criminal law young scholars, the name of “Filippo Grispigni” is almost unknown. It could not be otherwise if we consider that, in the contemporary literature through which the great ancient jurist can be found, he was never or almost never mentioned. For this reason, the same people would be surprised to ascertain that this has not always been the case and that instead, for decades, Grispigni has been one of the most important characters of italian doctrine (and not only).
